Translated by Experience Mayhew based on John Eliot’s translation. According to Trumbull, “every verse underwent revision and scarely one remains without alteration.” JCB has 2 copies, both imperfect: copy 1 wanting the entire Gospel of John; copy 2 wanting title pages, all of Psalms I-IX and beginning of Psalm X (v. 1-part of v. 4), and all of the Gospel of John after chapter XX.
