[27-28]) in Latin and Nahuatl. Originally published Mexico, 1578. Molina's Doctrina christiana breue traduzida en lengua Mexicana, Mexico, 1546 (reprinted as his Doctrina breve en lengua Mexicana, Mexico, 1571), may be earlier editions of this work, but no copies of these are believed to be extant; see León-Portilla’s comments.
