Translation, by Johann Georg Krünitz, of: Description et histoire naturelle du Groenland, first printed in Copenhagen and Geneva, 1763, which is itself a translation, by Jean Baptiste Des Roches de Parthenay, of: Det gamle Grønlands nye perlustration, eller, Naturel-historie, printed in Copenhagen, 1741, but which first appeared in a pirated edition in Copenhagen, 1729.
