Notes: Includes selections of vocabulary in the Port des Français language, v. 2, p. 152-153, and in the Ecclemach language, v. 2, p. 243-246; these languages would appear to be part of the Wakashan group of languages spoken on the Pacific Northwest coast. There is a selection of vocabulary in the language of the inhabitants of Tchoka island, v. 2, p. 488-498, which is identified as located near the Kamchatka Peninsula. Translation of: Voyage de La Pérouse autour du monde, first printed Paris, 1797. "Narrative of an interesting voyage in the frigate La Princesa from Manilla to San Blaz, in 1780, and 1781", v. 1, p. 340-418, is translated from the Spanish of Don Antonio Mourelle.
