Notes: Includes selections of vocabulary in the Port des Français language, v. 2, p. 152-153, and in the Ecclemach language, v. 2, p. 243-246; these languages would appear to be part of the Wakashan group of languages spoken on the Pacific Northwest coast. There is a selection of vocabulary in the language of the inhabitants of Tchoka island, v. 2, p. 488-498, which is identified as located near the Kamchatka Peninsula.
