Notes: Contains an “Indian Grammar of the P’shwan-Wa-Pam, Wala-Wala, Tairtla, Roil-Roil-Pam and Palus languages” (p. 9-30), with chapters on substantives, adjectives, pronouns, verbs, and syntax; “Specimens of the Yakama language”, including the Lord’s Prayer (p. 31) with literal interlinear English translation, and a “Peace song composed by Father Pandosy”, to the tune of the Marseillaise, with literal line-by-line French translation in parallel columns (p. 32-34) followed by a French prose paraphrase; and an English-Yakama dictionary listing approximately 1300 terms (p. 35-59).
