Notes: Ms. codex. Manuscript transcribed about 1856 for the ethnographer E.G. (Ephraim George) Squier from a codex in the Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris. Forms a grammar, with sections on the Otomí alphabet, nouns, numerals, pronouns, verbs, gerunds, prepositions, and conjunctions. There is also a short glossary of kinship terms. The original manuscript in Paris (Américain 8), compiled in 1605, is accompanied by a dictionary for Otomí, Nahuatl, and Spanish.
