Title from caption on leaf [1] recto. Date of publication of 1559 can be conjectured from the author's publication of Vocabulario en lengua de Mechuacan, in Mexico City, 1559. "Evangelios de los santos ...", leaves [82-223], are a set of voices of the Lord and another set of scriptural texts with the Latin translated into Tarasco, and two cycles of sermons in Tarasco. Includes sermons in the Tarascan language and other religious texts, in several hands, written in black ms. hand with occasional red highlights.
