Notes: Grammar in Spanish with Quechua examples (leaves 1-40, 2nd count) followed by two dictionaries: Quechua-Spanish and Spanish-Quechua, each with approximately 5000 entries (leaves 1-176, 3rd count). Following the Quechua-Spanish section are “Anotaciones” which discuss consanguineous, affinal, and spiritual kinship terms. Authorship variously attributed to Ludovico Bertonio, Francisco del Canto, Domingo de Santo Tomás, Diego González Holguín, Diego de Torres Rubio, and Alfonso Bárcena. Title from an earlier and later edition which have the same title, both printed in Lima, one by Antonia Ricard in 1586, the other by Francisco del Canto in 1614. Medina gives the title as: Gramatica y vocabularia en la lengua general del Peru... There is no copy of the present work known to have a title page.
