Notes: Contains several brief lists of Nahuatl vocabulary, including numerals 1-20 and calendrical terms (some of which are animal names and other common nouns) for months, days, weeks, and years, with Spanish equivalents in parallel column (leaves cxvii verso-cxix recto). Vocabulary immediately preceded by “De las letras de Mexico”, a paragraph discussing Nahuatl hieroglyphics and phonetics (leaf cxvii verso). Set in black letter type.
Originally published as second part of author's La istoria de las Indias, y conquista de Mexico, Saragossa: Agustin Millan, 1552. Here issued, with special t.p., as second part of author's Primera y segunda parte de la historia general de las Indias, Saragossa: Miguel Capila, 1553. Except for last 2 leaves which have been reset, this is the same setting of type as the Saragossa, 1552 edition.
