Authorship variously attributed to: Ludovico Bertonio, Francisco del Canto, Domingo de Santo Tomás, Diego González Holguín, Diego de Torres Rubio, and to Alfonso Bárcena. Includes woodcut vignette of the coat of arms of the dedicatee, don Fernando de Torres y Portugal, viceroy of Peru, on title page; initial.

Many leaves repaired, mounted or tipped in, and stained; text block closely trimmed at head with some loss of text.
