Also contains vocabularies and religious texts: “Vocabulario breve aymara de los vocablos mas comunes de que ordinariamente usamos” (leaves 46-64), listing approximately 1500 terms in Spanish with Aymara equivalents, printed in double columns; “Confessonario [sic] breve en Aymara” (leaves 65-75 recto); “Orden de celebrar el matrimonio” and “Para administrar el viatico a los enfermos”, primarily in Aymara with some Spanish and Latin (leaves 76-79); “Vocabulario breve aymara... que comienza por la Aymarŕ, al contrario del passado” (leaves 80-97 recto), listing approximately 1000 terms in Aymara with Spanish equivalents, printed in double columns; and “Letania de N. Seńora en lengua Aymarŕ” and “Acto de contricion en lengua Aymarŕ” (leaves 97 verso - [1]). There are two Lima, 1616 versions of this work that have been confused with one another. This version issued with reprint of the Seville, 1604 edition of the “Catecismo en la lengua espańola y aymara del Piru”, with separate title page, separate foliation but continuous signatures and gatherings; imprint given as Seville, Bartolomé Gómez, 1604. The other 1616 version (JCB B616/ T689a2), which differs in signatures and foliation, does not include the Catecismo. JCB copy lacks leaves 89, 92 and 93 (2nd count).
