Margaret Mulcahy is a PhD student in Brown's Sociology department. Her research interests include environmental sociology, environmental justice, toxic exposures, and risk management and mitigation. More specifically, Margaret is interested in how individuals in the United States minimize exposure to environmental toxins, particularly through involvement with organic and local food movements.
