*The fees charged per sample are for the analysis of samples by the users of the facility and are not intended to cover any labor associated with sample preparation or analysis, unless specifically noted. The users will receive training on how to prepare samples and use the analyzers by the manager of the facility and/or his assistants. All users of the Environmental Chemistry Analytical Facility, independent of class projects that are supervised by the facility manager or his assistants, will be required to attend laboratory safety and hazardous waste training prior to using the facility. External users that are not associated with a collaborative project, a Brown Hospital Affiliate or Rhode Island Academic Institution, will be charged a F&A rate of 62.5%.
