Eunsuk Kim was born and raised in South Korea. She received her B.S. from Sangmyung University and M.S. from Korea University and went on to complete her Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry at Johns Hopkins University in 2004. After completing postdoctoral research at Harvard University, School of Public Health and at MIT, Biological Engineering Department, she accepted a postion in the Department of Chemistry at Brown University in 2008.
