Vaccines: Applied Science for Public Health (A De Groot and P. Knopf) 1999-2000

This series of presentations by leaders in the field of vaccine research is intended to give the Brown University community a cross-sectional view of vaccine development, including  new and re-emerging pathogens, new means of discovering vaccine components, new vaccine formulations, current controversies in clinical trials, and current methods of vaccine delivery to at risk populations. These topics will be presented by a number of nationally recognized speakers, including individuals from the field of biotechnology, NIH-funded laboratories, and local Brown vaccine researchers
