Office of Continuing Medical Education

The Office of Continuing Medical Education at The Warren Alpert Medical School is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education to physicians. For more than 20 years, the Warren Alpert Medical School has been dedicated to sponsoring medical education activities that enable physicians and other health care professionals to better treat, manage, and educate their patients. The Office of Continuing Medical Education plans and implements CME activities in accordance with the ACCME Essential Areas and policies and Standards for Commercial Support.

The Office of Continuing Medical Education sponsors live and enduring medical education activities on a wide range of clinical disciplines including, but not limited to:

Community Health
Emergency Medicine
Infectious Disease
Internal Medicine
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Primary Care Medicine
Psychiatry and Human Behavior

CME Compliance

As a reminder, all physicians are required to complete 40 hours of Category 1 CME on or before June 1 of even-number years (June 1, 2014).
