Running a successful research program requires the management and coordination of BioMed FPO, University Facilities, faculty, researchers and our outside vendors.
BioMed Facilities Planning and Operations is responsible for the purchasing, maintenance, and oversight of centrally-used equipment, including autoclaves, glass washers, building RODI water systems, and other centrally controlled research-related equipment.
We are able to assist you with equipment issues that you may encounter.
- To report operating issues with autoclaves, glass washers, or building RODI systems, please contact BioMed Facilities Planning and Operations at 863-2483.
- For all other maintenance-related issues, such as utility services, contact the Facilities Management Service Response Center at 863-7800.
- For questions and information about equipment safety training, contact Environmental Health and Safety at 863-3353.
All users of autoclaves and glass washers, including faculty, staff, and students, must go through safety training sponsored by Environmental Health and Safety.
