The Lifespan Cancer Institute of Rhode Island and Miriam Hospitals, the major teaching affiliates of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, is seeking a senior oncologist to lead the women medical oncology. The successful candidate will lead the clinical care and research programs of women with gynecologic and breast malignancies. The candidate must qualify for a full time medical faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor in the Department of Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. The candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team including breast and gynecologic oncologists and collaborate with outstanding programs in surgical oncology, radiation oncology and cancer biology. Exceptional support and resources will be provided to develop a national program of clinical and research excellence.
Minimum requirements include board certification in oncology, a national reputation of excellence, strong experience in mentoring trainees, clinical and or translational research, excellence in patient care and teaching, and a commitment to scholarly participation in the research programs of The Warren Alpert Medical School.
