Our hospital and community-based faculty are dedicated to research, teaching and training the next generation of medical, clinical and research leaders. Comprised of more than 680 Research Scholar, Teaching Scholar and Research faculty and more than 1,200 Clinician Educators and Clinical Voluntary Faculty, our faculty work in hospitals, medical foundations, laboratories and private practice. Brown University's clinical departments include Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Medicine, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopaedics, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Human Behavior, Radiation Oncology, and Surgery.
