Brown University's Division of Biology and Medicine is committed to growing our research programs, furthering collaboration with our 7 RI Hospital partners and the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown, and maintaining the quality of excellence of our training.

As of 2006, PhD students admitted to Brown are guaranteed five years of support which includes stipend, tuition, and health fees as well as health insurance. Student support will be in the form of Divisional Fellowships, Teaching Assistantships, Research Assistantships and Traineeships.
