The Brown University tuition rate for the 2018-2019 academic year ranges from $54,320 - $65,374 (see below for master's programs with specific tuition rates). This amount is based on a 4 course per semester schedule. Tuition will vary by program, discipline, and the number of courses required for full-time status.
Several master’s programs have a different tuition structure than other degree programs at Brown for 2018-2019: Tuition for the master’s in Engineering will be $63,314; tuition for the master’s program in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship will be $62,400; tuition for the master’s program in Physics will be $59,758; tuition for the master’s program in Computer Science will be $65,374; tuition for the master’s program in Data Science will be $63,440.
If you are an admitted or enrolled student receiving financial aid, log in to Banner Self Service to find your most recent financial aid award to use in the Bill Estimator. Any funding from your program at Brown would also be located on your admission or program financial aid notification.
To complete the Bill Estimator, enter your anticipated Student Health Insurance Plan participation, the amount of your Brown University Scholarship or tuition support, and any student loans you have been offered and/or plan to borrow. Although you should not include outside scholarships in the Bill Estimator, keep in mind that outside scholarships may be used to reduce your Estimated Annual Amount Due.
