COVID-19 UPDATE: Brown University will not be offering undergraduate Wintersession classes during the 2020-21 academic year.
Eligible students (i.e. those who receive University Scholarship during the academic year and are enrolled at Brown in the fall term) may qualify for additional financial aid to apply to Wintersession costs. For information regarding the Wintersession, including available courses and costs, please visit brown.edu/go/wintersession.
Additional Information Regarding Financial Aid and Wintersession
- Due to the continuous enrollment requirements, students must be enrolled in the fall term prior to the Wintersession to be considered for financial aid, including the borrowing of federal and private loans.
- Students graduating in December cannot use the Wintersession to extend the loan deferment/grace periods outside of the traditional fall or spring semester dates, even if they are enrolled in a final winter session course.
For assistance regarding financial aid eligibility and Wintersession please visit the Office of Financial Aid on the second floor of Page-Robinson Hall or call or email the Office of Financial Aid at 401-863-2721 or [email protected].
