The White House Hosts a Travel Blogger Summit on Study Abroad and Global Citizenship

In early December, the Global Engagement Directorate at the National Security Council held a summit of 130 prominent travel bloggers and social media outlets to discuss various U.S. government strategies and initiatives for advocating American students to study, work, and volunteer abroad. 

The goal of the Administration is to substantially diversify and boost the number of students to participate in international cultural and educational experiences and experiential learning.
