International Risk and Operations Working Group

The International Risk and Operations Working Group (IROWG) ensures that the university is prepared to manage situations that arise involving international risk and to take action for successful outcomes, as necessary.

Functions of the International Risk and Operations Working Group:

  • Reviewing existing policies and developing new policies (as necessary) centered on international risk mitigation;

  • Assessing duplicative efforts, efficiencies, and identifying gaps with current international risk practices;                             

  • Identifying potential risks and recognizing potential for improvements in managing risk and readiness;

  • Analyzing risks by probability and impact (negligible, marginal, critical, and catastrophic);

  • Developing a contingency plan to manage high probability and high impact risks.
