Assessing and Developing Emotional Intelligence for Staff
Emotional intelligence is the something in each of us that is a bit intangible. It affects how we manage behavior, navigate social complexities, and make personal decisions to achieve positive results. Emotional intelligence is comprised of four core skills paired under two primary competencies: personal and social. Prior to the session, participants take a self-appraisal that delivers scores for the key components of emotional intelligence. The appraisal results are debriefed during the session and participants develop an action plan to increase emotional intelligence in the four core skills. This session on November 7 is for non-supervisory staff. There is a $125 materials fee charged to the participant's department for this session.
