Description of Services


We help teams understand their group dynamics and improve their ability to work together. Through experiential activities and assessment tools, team members build trust and open communication channels while clarifying and aligning their roles and responsibilities within the team's mission. We have facilitated mission, vision and value statement workshops along with other programs to help teams achieve peak performance. 

Customer Service

Who are our customers at Brown? Everyone!- Students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, colleagues, vendors, campus visitors, etc. Do you want to exceed your customers' expectations? CLPD can present programs such as the FISH! Philosophy® or tailor a session for your department to achieve service excellence. 

Instructional Design

Has your department been asked to develop training on University policies, procedures, or work processes? Have you been asked to explain your services to staff and faculty? If so, the CLPD can help you!

We provide "Train the Trainer" consultations for subject matter experts (SMEs) charged with developing employee training and information sessions. 

Needs Assessment

Let us assist you in gathering information and feedback about a specific need. We use a variety of data gathering techniques including on-line surveys and focus groups. We can assist you in identifying the purpose and outcomes of your needs assessment or focus group, develop and write questions and facilitate or train others to facilitate and concisely summarize findings.
