The Administrative Fellows Program seeks to nurture a talented and diverse staff by providing enhanced access to professional development resources and networks to prepare them to become leaders in promoting more inclusive communities within higher education. For more information on the program, click here.
The program is open to all staff members, with the goal of creating a cohort of Fellows having diversity of religion, gender, culture, age, race/ethnicity, color, sexual orientation, gender identity, nationality, disabilities, and socio-economic backgrounds, and other aspects of identity. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
The program provides staff with a great opportunity to be involved in new ways within the Brown community. The program seeks to select talented individuals as Fellows and provide them with opportunities to:
- access and speak with senior leaders,
- advance their skills and abilities,
- cultivate their talent,
- grow and develop professionally, and
- achieve professional goals of interest.
Fellows will embark on a twelve (12) month term of professional development opportunities. The Fellows program encourages all full-time staff in grades 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 to apply. An advisory group will review all applications and select the Fellows.
The ideal Fellow selected for the program will be a highly motivated individual, interested in developing professionally as a leader in higher education, and committed to diversity and inclusion work for all.
Participation in the program does not guarantee an administrative full-time or part-time job opportunity or promotion after the twelve (12) month Fellowship term.
