UnitedHealthcare Choice Plus and United Behavioral Health Network are the provider networks. To locate a provider, please click here

The participation of specific providers in the UnitedHealthcare Choice Plus and United Behavioral Health Networks is subject to change without notice. When making an appointment, you should always confirm that the provider currently participates in the network.

A recommendation by Health Services or Counseling and Psychological Services for treatment by an outside provider does not guarantee that the services will be covered by the Student Health Insurance Plan. All services are paid in accordance with the plan provisions.

To confirm eligibility and coverage dates for Brown University students,  providers must call UnitedHealthcare StudentResources at 1-888-224-4875.

Please note that this is a division of UnitedHealthcare dedicated to student health insurance plans.  The standard UnitedHealthcare online system commonly used by providers to confirm eligibility and coverage dates will not work for student health insurance plans.

In addition, providers must submit claims to:

UnitedHealthcare
StudentResources
PO Box 809025
