Leave of Absence
Students going on a leave of absence in the Spring semester will remain insured through the end of the policy, August 14.
Students going on a leave of absence in the Fall will not be automatically enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan, however, may enroll directly through the Leave of Absence Process if previously insured under the Student Health Insurance Plan.
Students may continue their current plan until its expiration on August 14 and will not be eligible to re-enroll.
Students may request a prorated refund based on their date of separation through the Insurance Office.
Students may continue their plan until its expiration on August 14, even if they graduate in May or December.
December graduates may contact the Insurance Office by January 15th to request a refund of the Spring semester premium. Proof of completion is required.
