Brown faculty from across the University collaborate actively with Nanjing University (NJU). New and existing collaborations with NJU cover a broad range of disciplines and areas spanning medicine, science, social science, and the humanities.
- Nanjing-Brown Joint Program in Gender Studies and the Humanities, dating from an agreement signed in 2008, promotes cooperation in Gender Studies in collaborative research, lectures, symposiums, and exchanges of researchers, faculty and students.
- Brown-Nanjing Global Forum, finalized in 2010, is an initiative of the Office of International Affairs to foster closer faculty research ties through short-term faculty exchanges.
