Brown and Peking University (PKU) built on strong existing individual faculty ties, and a history of student exchange, by signing new agreements in 2011.

• Framework agreement was designed to improve mutual understanding and develop academic exchanges and bilateral relationships.
• Environmental change cooperation and academic and educational exchanges are provided for in an appendix to the framework agreement.
