• Phrase of the Week: During the 2011-12 academic year, each week provided an opportunity to learn a new Chinese phrase. Lessons covered expressions commonly used in daily life and include audio recordings as well as the standard pronunciation, English translation, traditional and simplified Chinese characters.

• Pronunciation Guide: A Q & A guide meant to serve as an introduction to pronunciation and transcription.

• Introduction to Chinese Characters: Chinese characters have evolved over several thousands of years to include many different styles, or scripts. This page shows the evolution of characters through illustrations and videos.
