Launched in 2014, the 250th anniversary of Brown’s founding, the 10-year strategic plan, "Building on Distinction: A New Plan for Brown," offers the broad vision and goals to ensure the University’s capacity to fulfill its mission of teaching, research and service at the highest levels over the next decade.
The detailed vision for realizing Brown's commitment to diversity is articulated in Pathways to Diversity and Inclusion: An Action Plan for Brown University, which outlines a set of concrete, achievable actions to make Brown a more fully diverse and inclusive community.
This annual report, which is produced after the close of the fiscal year, demonstrates Brown’s stewardship of its resources to fulfill the University’s mission and meet its strategic goals.
This multi-year project, launched in Fall 2016, aims to leverage technology and data to achieve operational excellence, support for academic innovation, and improvements in access, utility, information-sharing and communications for members of the Brown community.
The task force will complete its work by March 2018 to recommend and help coordinate actions for Brown’s business operations and investment practices in an effort to fully reflect the University’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
