Charge:

Assess, recommend and allocate financial and physical resources, including existing space, in support of Building on Distinction.  Establish priorities for the approximately $3M in funds allocated annually to support faculty hires and academic initiatives.

Committee Responsibilities:

  • Use and reuse of campus space to support academic and administrative objectives
  • Oversee effective space utilization strategies
  • Evaluate a project’s business plan, pro-forma, and operating assumptions
  • Bring critical space allocation issues and funding prioritization questions to the Provost’s attention for decisions 
  • Initiate space committee and departmental funded projects
