The Brown University Department of Public Safety is informing the campus community of a robbery that occurred on Brown street, in the vicinity of Creighton Street (behind Hope High School near the playground).

Incident: On Sunday, 10/25/20 at approximately 4:10 pm, a woman was walking southbound near the intersection of Brown and Creighton Street, when the victim was approached by two unknown males who displayed a knife. The assailants then took the victim’s purse and fled from the area in an unknown direction. The victim suffered a minor injury on her hand during the incident. The victim described her assailants as between seventeen to twenty-one years old. One of the assailants was wearing a blue sweatsuit and was husky built. The other male was 5’6 and had braided hair.
