Join us at the Sheridan Center to hear guest faculty from various institutions share their experiences as a faculty member, and their career paths that led to their academic positions. Barbara Browning is Associate Professor of Performance Studies at New York University. She holds Ph.D., M.A. and B.A. degrees in Comparative Literature from Yale University. Her honors include a Fulbright Fellowship; Fellow of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture; President's Award for Teaching from Princeton University; Mellon Visiting Professor at Tulane University; and De La Torre Bueno Prize for Best Book in Dance.
