At this hands-on workshop led by Sheridan Center Associate Director for the Humanities & Social Sciences Laura Hess, doctoral students from the humanities will brainstorm about what they need to do to be ready to go on the academic job market, review successful CVs and practice reading job ads for faculty positions. In preparation, participants will complete an assigned reading on CVs (https://career.berkeley.edu/PhDs/PhDCV.stm) and prepare a CV, which they should bring to the session. Enrollment limited to 20.
