Sheridan Center for Teaching & Learning
Would you like to be able to tell someone something, but you don’t know or worry how they will take it? How often has someone asked for your feedback, but become upset after you’ve given it. Led by University Ombudsperson Ruth Rosenberg, this workshop for graduate students and beginning postdoctoral fellows will introduce effective strategies for having a “difficult conversation” and provide an opportunity for you to practice. Bring a brown-bag lunch. If you would like to attend this workshop, please RSVP online at sheridan.brown.edu.
