Led by Sheridan Center Associate Director Laura Hess, this hands-on, interactive workshop for faculty, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students will introduce basic principles of syllabus design. Participants will discuss the purpose and essential elements of a course syllabus and explore how to create a syllabus that facilitates student learning. This session is part of the Sheridan Center’s Fundamentals: Teaching + Learning Workshop Series, which addresses practical strategies for new instructors.
