Learning Outcomes and Curriculum Mapping

The Sheridan Center works with departments and academic programs to carefully define learning outcomes for undergraduate concentrators and assessments of those outcomes. Engaging in effective curriculum design and creating authentic measures of student learning helps faculty and departments create opportunities for deep learning and the development of disciplinary expertise in students as they progress through the concentration.

Learning outcomes for undergraduate concentrators  in Anthropology, Chemistry, Economics, Education, and Geology  were developed as part of the Sheridan-Teagle Project.

Student goals for each undergraduate concentration are also available on Focal Point.
