Serve on the President's Staff Advisory Council!

Do you want to be part of a great opportunity to learn new skills and be part of a great team of staff from across the University? Do you know someone who would benefit from a professional development opportunity and appreciate the chance to be involved in the Brown community? Are you willing and able to make the commitment? The President's Staff Advisory Council is seeking applicants to fill eight vacancies for January. We're looking for dynamic and vested individuals to join the team!

Being a member of SAC is a significant time commitment. Meetings take place twice a month for two hours each and are held at different locations throughout the campus. We also hold networking/social events once or twice a month, some are after work hours and some are at lunch time. Being a SAC member means you are willing to participate in events and support the Council's efforts to engage with staff in a multitude of ways.

Staff employees (non-bargaining unit) applying to be on SAC must complete at least one (1) full year of regular University employment prior to the start of his/her term and must serve in a regular position that is designated as 80% time or greater.
