SAC is sponsoring tours of the Northeast Planetary Data Center on May 7 and May 9 from noon – 1:00 pm.

The Northeast Planetary Data Center is one of a network of seventeen centers throughout the world presenting the latest photos and videos taken by the Mars Science Lab Rover as it explores the red planet. Center director Peter Neivert will show the current exhibit in the front of the gallery, after which Professor Ralph Milliken, a science team member for the mission, will talk about the Curiosity rover and early mission results. After the presentation, view the Martian Curiosity exhibit at your leisure.

Registration is limited to 16 staff members per tour. Click here to register. The Data Center is located in room 216 on the 2nd floor of Lincoln Field Building, in the center of the Brown campus.

Feel free to bring your lunch.
