- Missing Student - Confidential Contact Registration - requires Brown log in
Brown University students residing on-campus are given the option to register with the Office of Residential Life a confidential contact that will be accessible to authorized Brown officials or to law enforcement personnel in furtherance of a missing person investigation and/or notification purposes if a student is determined by the university to be missing for a period of more than 24 hours. The confidential contact is a person designated in addition to the emergency contact listed in the student's Banner record. The emergency contact person will also be contacted. For students who are below age 18 and not emancipated, the custodial parent will be notified.
