Division of Campus Life

About Campus Life

The Division of Campus Life works with and supports all Brown undergraduate, graduate and medical students to ensure their academic and personal success.

Every Brown student is transformed in many ways during their time between trips through the Van Wickle Gates, from Convocation to Commencement.

While they are here, the Division of Campus Life has the responsibility and the privilege to shape their experience in profound, constructive, individualized ways.

Our Mission, Vision and Values

Our mission is to educate students and collaborate with them to promote personal growth, holistic well-being and open inquiry as they lead lives of purpose and integrity in inclusive communities at Brown and in the world. Diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as developmental advising and mentoring, are embedded in all aspects of our work.
