RESIDENCE HALLS remain open. Facilities problems that need emergency repairs (e.g., burst water pipe, broken door or window, toilet overflow) should be reported immediately to Facilities Service and Repair by calling (401) 863-7800.
DINING SERVICES - The Refectory will be open for meal plan customers with continuous service between the hours of 10:30 am and 7:30 pm on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Other Dining venues closed during Break; detailed information about hours of each venue is available on the Dining website.
THURSDAY, NOV. 24 | THANKSGIVING DINNER
Dining Services invites all undergraduate, graduate, and medical students to share a Thanksgiving meal at Sharpe Refectory. Students on Meal Plan may continue to dine as usual. Students not on Meal Plan may come for a Thanksgiving meal on Thursday anytime between 11:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. by simply presenting their valid Brown ID. Non-Brown-student guests may dine with you for the guest meal rate of $14.95.
HEALTH SERVICES will close at 5PM on Wednesday, November 23 and reopen Monday morning, November 28, 2016. Available throughout the break are Nursing Advice (401) 863-1330 and EMS response (401) 863-4111 -- see Emergency Numbers above.
COUNSELING AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES (CAPS) will close at 5PM Wednesday, November 23 and reopen 8:30AM Monday, November 28, 2016.
- Whenever the CAPS office is closed, call (401) 863-3476 to talk to a counselor through ProtoCall. ProtoCall provides Brown students with immediate support, assessment and referrals; in an emergency, they can help connect you with campus resources. A CAPS counselor is always available in case an on-campus connection is needed.
- In a life-threatening situation, contact EMS through Brown Public Safety (401) 863-4111.

The OFFICE OF THE CHAPLAINS AND RELIGIOUS LIFE serves all members of the Brown community regardless of religious affiliation. Chaplains offer confidential counsel and assistance, and can be reached at all times through the University's on-call system at (401) 863-3322.
The ROBERT CAMPUS CENTER will remain open as usual through the break; after exterior doors lock at closing time, Brown students may access by card swipe at the door in Faunce Arch. The Blue Room will close at 3PM on Wednesday, November 23 and re-open on Monday morning, November 28.
LIBRARIES will close at 5PM on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 and are closed Thursday and Friday. The Rock, Sciences Library and Friedman Study Center will open for shorter hours on Saturday and Sunday, and resume hours on Monday. Detailed hours on the Library site (check out the "Printable hours" links on the right of that page). Regular hours resume Monday, November 28, 2016.
FITNESS FACILITIES will have adjusted holiday hours. The Nelson Fitness Center and OMAC will close at 8PM on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 and reopen Friday, November 25 from 5:30AM – 8PM. Normal hours will resume on Saturday and Sunday; check hours online. Residence halls fitness centers will be open normal hours. Check brownrec.com or call (401) 863-5100 for all up-to-date schedules.
