Area of Interest: Like many historical archaeologists, I am interested in understanding the many and varied ongoing impacts of colonial processes and policies. I am particularly interested in institutional sites, especially schools, and the relationships between material culture, ideology, and space/landscape in the United States. I am also committed to making archaeology more accessible and relevant for all, so I have a keen interest in public archaeology and outreach, as well as in GIS and other digital technologies.
