Ph.D., University of Minnesota, 2005, Mathematics

My research interests fall into main three categories:  In the area of partial differential equations, my research focuses on nonlinear elliptic and parabolic PDEs, Navier-Stokes equations, quasi-geostrophic equations, reaction diffusion equations, unique continuation problems.  In the field of probability, I am interested in the probabilistic approach of PDEs, stochastic processes, and stochastic control theory.  Thirdly, I am interested in numerical analysis, especially the rates of convergence of finite difference approximations.
