Research Interests: 19th-20th Century Architecture, Architecture and Technology, Architectural Education
Jon is a PhD candidate in the history of architecture. His research focuses on the history of architectural practice and pedagogy, architectural representation and graphics, and the intersections of architecture and technology. Jon’s dissertation project examines architectural graphic and bureaucratic practices in the United States around 1900. He received his BA in Art History and Architectural Studies from Tufts University and has held curatorial positions and internships at the MIT Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and the RISD Museum. In January 2021 Jon was appointed Assistant Curator of Architecture & Design at the MIT Museum.
