Darling Lab - Influence of Inherent Mechanophenotype on Competitive Cellular Adherence

April 26, 2017

Using atomic force microscopy and substrates with variable compliance, the Darling lab is elucidating the role of cellular viscoelastic properties in cell adhesion. Their article "Influence of Inherent Mechanophenotype on Competitive Cellular Adherence" was recently accepted for publication in Annals of Biomedical Engineering and featured on its cover. PhD candidate Manisha Shah was the lead author, and undergraduate student Iris Garcia-Pak also contributed.
