Ian Wong has been selected as a 2017 Emerging Investigator by Biomaterials Science. The Emerging Investigators themed issue is dedicated to highlighting the very best work from scientists in the early stages of their independent careers. All contributors to this themed issue have been highly recommended as early career scientists whose work has made a significant impact to shape and define the future of biomaterials research. Prof. Wong's review article on "Multicellular tumor invasion and plasticity in biomimetic materials" was co-authored by Pathobiology graduate student Susan E. Leggett and BME graduate student Amanda S. Khoo.
